Paramount+’s horror series Evil is one that you should definitely be watching, and fortunately, we’ll get to continue: Paramount has announced that the show will return for a third season.
The show first premiered on CBS, and is about a psychologist (Dr. Kristen Bouchard, played by Katja Herbers), a priest-in-training (David Acosta, played by Mike Colter), and a contractor (Ben Shakir, played by Aasif Mandvi) who investigate strange incidents to determine if they’re of paranormal origin—and work to solve the underlying issue.

Back in May, CBS announced that the series would shift to its streaming counterpart, Paramount+—home to shows like The Good Fight and Star Trek Discovery—when its second season returned on June 20th. Now that the series has returned, CBS appears to be happy with the arrangement: the network has renewed the show for a third season.
In its announcement, CBS noted that the series has become one “of the service’s top acquisition drivers,” and that its viewership has been growing week over week with each episode. Both seasons of the show are available on Paramount+ (The first three episodes of season two are have since been released, with new episodes dropping each Sunday). You can catch season one on Netflix as well.
CBS hasn’t said when season three will debut, but it seems likely that it will arrive on Paramount+ sometime next year.
